Raipur Hotel is a hospitality project nestled in the outskirts of Raipur, Chhattisgarh, developed in collaboration with Studio Neelabh, a Mumbai-based architecture practice. Differential contributed to the concept design and feasibility phases, establishing the project's formal and environmental strategies. The building form responds directly to the unique plot geometry, with the façade carefully designed to maximize outward-facing views while mitigating excessive heat gain in the region's challenging climate.
This dual consideration balances guest experience with environmental performance, creating spaces that are both visually connected to the landscape and thermally comfortable. The project demonstrates how computational design can address site-specific constraints while enhancing the architectural intent, resulting in a form that is both contextually responsive and functionally optimized.

For each massing variant studied, we carriedout a detailed solar performance analysis to evaluate heat load reduction. This comparison highlights how our preferred scheme performs against two typical alternatives, demonstrating the benefits of the top bridge element, which provides significant shading to the plaza and façades.
At the same time, the square tower configuration proves efficient, with only onefaçade directly exposed to the south, further reducing solar gains and improving overallenergy performance.
